The Middle Franconian Bocksbeutel Road is located between Nuremberg, Würzburg and Rothenburg ob der Tauber in the south of the Steigerwald forest.
The region can be reached by road using the B8 trunk road or the A7 motorway (take one of the exits Gollhofen, Uffenheim-Langensteinach or Bad Windsheim.)<STRONG/>
Access by train is also straightforward: one of the train lines connecting Würzburg and Nuremberg has stops in Neustadt an der Aisch and Markt Bibart. The train line connecting Neustadt an der Aisch with Steinach an der Enz stops in several towns along the Middle Franconian Bocksbeutel Road including Dietersheim, Ipsheim, and Bad Windsheim. On the weekends between 1 May and 1 November, passengers can also avail of the Bocksbeutelexpress bus service. The buses link wine town and villages along the Middle Franconian Bocksbeutel Road with the train stations in Markt Bibart and Uffenheim.
